Dave Douglas and the Vistas Aug 1963
The Vistas played the California Ballroom in August 1963 as support act to
Rocking Henry and the Hayseeds.
An amateur band, they were busy during the early
60s and were resident at the "Whiskey-a-go-go" in Wardour Street, W1, where they
supported many of the big names of the day including Lulu, The Yardbirds, Shane
Fenton and The California's home grown stars, The Barron Knights.

Although they never released any singles, they did record a demo of a song called "A rose in your hair" which was to be offered to another artist. Does anyone know who recorded this? The only version I've been able to track down is on a CD by a German singer called Oliver Onions
