Vince Eager
Vince Eager appeared at the California in 1962 and 1963 and was the headline act on each occasion. Sometimes he was billed with The Echos as his backing band and on others they were billed separately. The Echos are listed on many occasions with different singers, so it's possible they were local to the California or on the backing circuit.
Vince released many singles but none of them became big hits it's believed due to conflict with Larry Parnes over the death of Eddie Cochrane. Vince however was a household name and is still on the circuit today. I saw him live in 2003 and very good he is too.
