Louie Martin began his career at the age of 16 using the name Brother Louie. His first gig was at the Oakdale youth club in Luton but he soon progressed onto bigger and better things with regular sessions at the California Ballroom, Devil's Den and The Greyhound. When the Devil's Den was converted to Didoz, Louie played there too.

For a while he ran an import record shop from the California selling the hard to find sounds that he became famous for.

He started his radio career at Chiltern FM after several contributor slots on the then BBC Radio London. His legendary soul shows were broadcast on a network of stations including Horizon FM, Northants FM and Galaxy FM, Bristol. Louie also launched the Breakfast Show on Choice FM, Birmingham in 1995.

These days you can find him behind the decks at various venues including highly popular monthly Sunday Soul nights in Luton.

Louie is married to Anna and they have a growing family.
